About Us
At Pets In Need Society, we are a passionate, community-driven non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in Meade County, Kentucky. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of animals through a variety of vital services, including spay/neuter programs, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives for feral cats, low-income pet food assistance, and other resources designed to support responsible pet ownership.
We work closely with local shelters, veterinary clinics, and community partners to ensure that every pet in our care has access to the care they need. Our programs aim to reduce the pet overpopulation problem, prevent unnecessary euthanasia, and promote the humane treatment of animals in our community. By providing spay/neuter vouchers, pet food assistance, and education on responsible pet care, we strive to make Meade County a better place for both pets and the people who care for them.
Our dedication to animals is fueled by the belief that all pets deserve love, care, and a chance at a healthy life. With the support of our volunteers, donors, and local partnerships, we are making a lasting impact on the lives of pets and the community as a whole. Together, we are creating a compassionate environment where pets are treated with respect, dignity, and care.
